• to spread information about ARCNET technologies, its application and evolution
• to promote communication on the fieldbus ARCNET
• to observe and participate in the standardization of ARCNET
• to advise and support suppliers of ARCNET hardware, software and systems, as well as developers, engineers, users and operators.
